DRDO CEPTAM 2023: Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) has announced DRDO CEPTAM final/Tier 2 result 2023 for Tech post. The result has been announced for the recruitment Senior Technician Assistant and Technician. The exam was held on March 20 for 1901 vacancies. Candidates who appeared in the examination can access the DRDO CEPTAM Result 2023 online.
Earlier, DRDO CEPTAM admit card 2023 for Tier 2 was released on Tech A post. DRDO CEPTAM Tier 1 result for Tech A post was announced on February 21, 2023. The CBT exam for this post was conducted from January 6 to 11, 2023. Those who qualified the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 is a trade test and is qualifying in nature.
Earlier, DRDO CEPTAM final result 2022 for STA-B post was announced on January 30, 2023. Based on the final result, candidates were selected for an appointment. DRDO CEPTAM application form filling process extended till December 9. DRDO CEPTAM 10 A&A application form 2022 was released on November 7. Earlier, the last to apply for the exam was December 7, 2022. DRDO CEPTAM 10 A & A notification was released to fill a total of 1061 vacancies for the post of Stenographer Grade-I, Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Stenographer Grade-II, Administrative Assistant ‘A’, Store Assistant ‘A’ Security Assistant ‘A’ Vehicle Operator ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver ‘A’, and Fireman under Admin & Allied CETPAM 10 (A&A).
The application process of DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC for all the registered candidates closed on September 25. However, the last date for submission of DRDO CEPTAM application form was September 23. DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC application form was released on September 3. DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC notification 2022 was released for a total of 1901 vacancies for the post of Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and 826 for Technician-a (Tech-A).

What is CEPTAM?
DRDO CEPTAM is conducted by the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). CEPTAM conducts the exam for recruitment of Technical, Administrative & Allied category non-gazetted personnel. CEPTAM is a corporate body of DRDO established as Personnel Assessment Centre (PEACE) to cater to DRTC Cadre (Technical Staff) of DRDO. The centre is responsible for the recruitment of Technical, Administrative & Allied category staff, assessment and facilitates training for this cadre.

DRDO CEPTAM Result 2023
DRDO CEPTAM result 2023 for Tech A post has been announced. To check and download the result, candidates need to enter the post applied for, application number and date of birth. Based on the result, candidates have been shortlisted for the next round of the selection process.
DRDO CEPTAM Admit Card 2023
DRDO CEPTAM Tier 1 admit card for Tech A post was released. Along with it, the examination authority released DRDO CEPTAM Tier 2 admit card for STA-B post. Candidates could download their admit cards by logging with application number, date of birth and captcha code. The hard copy of the admit card was not been sent to candidates by post.
DRDO CEPTAM Application Form 2023
DRDO CEPTAM application form 2023 for A & A post was released on November 7, 2022. DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC application form 2022 was available from September 3 to 23. However, the registration dates were extended for all the registered candidates. The link to fill the application form for registered candidates was active till September 25. Registered candidates could finally submit their incomplete applications till this date. The application fee was INR 100 for General and OBC candidates. While SC/ST/Women/PwD/ESM candidates were exempted from paying the application fee.

To be eligible for DRDO CEPTAM, candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit. The eligibility criteria are different for different posts. The post-wise DRDO CEPTAM eligibility criteria are given below:
DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC Eligibility Criteria
Senior Technical Assistant-B (sta-b): The age limit for this post is 18 and 28 years. The educational qualification is bachelor’s degree in Science Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Computer Science or Allied Subjects, recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in the required Discipline.
Technician (Tech-A): The age limit for this post is 18 and 28 years. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised Board or Institute and have Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute in the required discipline/Certificate of minimum one year duration from a recognised Institution in the required discipline if the Industrial Training Institutes do not award Certificate in that discipline/National Trade Certificate in the required discipline/Or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the required discipline.
DRDO CEPTAM Eligibility Criteria for A&A post
Age limit: Candidate must be between 18 and 27 Years of age. The age is relaxed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD/widows/divorced women/women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried).

DRDO CEPTAM Selection Process
The complete process of DRDO CEPTAM is explained below.
Stage 1: Application Process
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to fill DRDO CEPTAM application. Applicants need to fill the application form online. Candidates need to first register for the exam. After the successful generation of user ID and password, candidates are able to fill the other details in the application form.
Stage 2: Issue of DRDO CEPTAM Admit Card
The admit card of CEPTAM is released online separately for different phases of the exam. Candidates can access their DRDO CEPTAM admit cards from the official website by logging with the required credentials. DRDO CEPTAM admit card includes details such as name, date of birth, category, exam venue, date, time of exam, etc.
Stage 3: Appearing in the exam
The entrance exam comprises various stages. DRDO CEPTAM exam for all posts is conducted in two stages: Tier-I and II. The exam pattern is different for different posts. Before final selection, candidates are required to appear in the document verification.

DRDO CEPTAM Exam Centres
The examination authority prescribes DRDO CEPTAM exam centres for Tier 1 and 2 exam. Candidates can choose any three cities from the list of exam centres in order of their preference for Tier 1 exam. Once the candidates exercise the option of exam centres, it is treated as final and cannot be changed. The examination authority reserves the right to add/delete any exam centre and allot candidates to a centre other than the one chosen by them. Candidates are not required to choose DRDO CEPTAM exam centre for Tier 2 (Trade Test). The exam cities for Tier 2 are decided based on the operational requirement.
DRDO CEPTAM Notification 2023
DRDO CEPTAM A& A notification 2023 was released by DRDO. The selection process of A&A post comprises Tier 1 (Computer Based Test), Tier 2 (Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test) and Tier 3 (Descriptive in Nature). Earlier, DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC notification for Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B) and Technician-a (tech-a) posts was released. For the post of STA-B, the selection process will consist of Tier–I (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection). For the post of Tech-A for DRDO CEPTAM 10 recruitment, the selection process will consist of Tier–I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade Test).

DRDO CEPTAM Syllabus
The first and foremost step towards preparation is understanding the DRDO CEPTAM syllabus. The syllabus comprises topics under different sections such as Quantitative ability/aptitude, General intelligence & Reasoning ability, General awareness, General Science, Arithmetic & Numerical Ability, etc. The syllabus of DRDO CEPTAM is of Class 10 and 12 standards. The question paper is framed based on the syllabus.
DRDO CEPTAM Exam Pattern
DRDO CEPTAM pattern is different for different tiers and posts. The pattern highlights the overall structure of the exam such as marking scheme, number of sections, total marks, and duration of the exam. DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for different posts is given below:
DRDO CEPTAM MTS exam pattern is divided into two tiers: I and II. Both the tiers will be conducted in computer-based mode and comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions. DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for A&A post is divided into two tiers: I and II. Tier-I is a computer-based test while tier-II is a trade/skill/physical fitness and capability test as per the post.
DRDO CEPTAM exam pattern for Tech A post is divided into tiers. Tier-I exam is conducted in computer-based mode. The question paper is divided into two sections: A and B. Part A of the question paper comprises questions from Quantitative Ability/Aptitude, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, English Language (basic knowledge), General Science. Section B comprises questions specific to trade/discipline as per the post-code. Trade test is of ITI level in the related trade.
DRDO CEPTAM 10 DRTC Exam Pattern
For the post of STA-B: Tier-I and Tier-II is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Score of Tier-I (CBT) is normalised. The Tier-I and Tier-II consists of objective typemultiple choice questions only. Tier-I examination is for screening and Tier-II is for final selection.
For the post of Tech-A: The score of Tier-I (CBT) is normalised as per requirement. The Tier-I (CBT) consists of objective type-multiple choice questions only.. Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade Test) is qualifying in nature. Trade test is of ITI level in the related trade, to test the practical skills of the candidates. The test is of about one to two hours duration.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40 percent for UR/OBC candidate and 35 percent for SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-I examination merit in a ratio of 1:8 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in examination. The last candidate securing equal marks in the bracket will also be included. These provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for Tier-II examination. The provisional selection will be based on the order of merit obtained in Tier-II examination depending upon the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-II is 40 percent for UR/OBC candidate and 35 percent for SC/ST candidates.
