I would say Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology. If you re looking for quality education, good placements, exposure, academics then LPU is right place, it has all. I am saying this because one of my known is pursuing same course from LPU and her experience is amazing. She told me faculty members works hard tirelessly in enabling students with the acumen to apply the findings of Bio sciences in the fields of medicine, forensics, nutrition and dietetics for the benefit of the community. LPU School of Bioengineering and Biosciences is equipped with state-of-the-art Bioprocess Engineering and Bioscience labs and believes in imparting knowledge to students through a practical approach to achieve mastery in plant and animal physiology. The course offers specializations in Dairy Technology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. The curriculum offers prime focus on fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. Students can get a foreign degree through international collaborations (2 year in India and 2 years abroad or 2 year in India and 1 year abroad)
In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. She said, specializations may be offered in Dairy Technology or Fermentation Technology or Molecular Biotechnology (subject to minimum number of students and feasibility)
The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it makes it easier for the students to prepare themselves for giant exams like CSIR NET ICMR, ICAR, and GATE. With an experienced faculty of 30+ in the department who arw ready to help the students round the clock, seven days a week, this institute is one of the best options for the young population to opt for biotechnology. The school encourages R & D activities for students to get the benefit. Many students from LPU have successfully collaborated with foreign universities and research institutions. The deptt also inculcates entrepreneurship opportunities to build job providers of the future. Companies like Panacea biotech, Dalmia healthcare, Root anaylsis, Cactus (and the list goes on) visit the campus every year. Also the scope is just not limited to work in the corporate sector in areas like marketing, quality controls or as research associative (for companies like Root analysis and cactus) but also the research areas.

This year GITAM has introduced scholarship upto 100% for those secure good ranks in JEE Mains or Andhra Pradesh or Telangana EAMCET. Students are placed in very good companies. They have best experienced faculty members and programme is very flexible for working professionals to manage along with there work. My senior has completed the programme from NMIMS and he is in awe of the programme. Must go for it!
