AIBE Result 2023- The Bar Council of India (BCI) will declare results of AIBE XVII on February 20, 2023 tentatively. The exam will be held on February 5, 2023. AIBE results contain details like roll number, qualifying status, and category-wise qualifying marks. It however doesn't contain any sectional scores for AIBE examination. Candidates who qualify in the AIBE 2023 exam would be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP), which is mandatory to practice in a court of law. To qualify in the exam, candidates must obtain a minimum of 40 marks (SC/ST candidates need 35 marks) out of a total of 100 marks, as per the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates can check here all about AIBE XVII results including steps to check results, schedule, cut-off marks, and more.

The exam notification along with AIBE result date has been informed tentatively by BCI in a notification stating, "You are requested to check your result after XXth February 2023, 5 pm."

How to Check AIBE Result 2023?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check the result:

  1. The AIBE XVII result link is provided at https://allindiabarexamination.com/ 
  2. Candidates have to go the result link, and a login window opens up
  3. Here candidates need to enter their AIBE application ID and Date of Birth
  4. On login, AIBE qualifying status would be displayed on the screen

AIBE Cut off Marks 

To clear AIBE and qualify for Certificate of Practice (COP), candidates need to score at least 40 marks out of a total of 100 marks, if belonging to the General/ OBC category and 35 marks if belonging to SC/ST category. Accoridng to the exam authority, candidate need to secure a minimum score as per the criteria mentioned below:

AIBE 2023 Certificate of Practice

The Certificate of Practice or COP is a certification issued to law graduates who have qualified the All India Bar Examination (AIBE exam). The certification is mandatory to practice in a court of law in India. The COP is issued within three months after the declaration of AIBE results. Candidates who have qualified AIBE exam have to collect it from the respective State Bar Council or download it from the AIBESCOPE application

How to obtain the Certificate of Practice from the State Bar Council?

From 2021 onwards, candidates who qualify AIBE examination can download their Certificate of Practice from AIBESCOPE mobile applications as well. Other than this, they need to visit the Bar Council office of their state with AIBE 2023 admit card and Receipt of application fee payment to get their COP 

Note: COP is never sent by post or email.

What details is mentioned on the certificate of practice?

The certificate will contain details like:

  • The candidate’s name

  • Roll number

  • Year (or edition) of AIBE exam qualified

  • Enrollment number

  • Registration number

  • Photograph and signature

  • Signature of BCI authority

All candidates clearing the examination as per the parameters, that is, qualifying marks and eligibility criteria, are issued the Certificate of Practice by BCI. 

AIBE Result Re-checking

Candidates can check the AIBE re-checking result by following the quick steps below:

  1. Log on to the official website - https://allindiabarexamination.com/ 
  2. Click on the Result Re-checking link
  3. Enter roll number and date of birth in the space provided
  4. The result for AIBE answer sheet re-checking will appear on the screen

AIBE Result Re-evaluation 

Candidates whose results show 'FAIL' status can get their answer sheets rechecked by BCI. The candidates can apply for rechecking online as mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AIBE 17- http://www.allindiabarexamination.com/ 

Step 2: Click on the link available for filling the re-checking request form.

Step 3: Fill in the below-mentioned details:

  • Roll number
  • Date of birth

Step 4: Click on Get Details button.

Step 5: Follow the precribed steps.

BCI will declare or send details of the answer sheet rechecking within seven working days of receiving the request form. 

It may be noted that candidates can also request rechecking their AIBE answer sheets themselves. For this, they need to book a time slot to visit the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. They need to fill the same application by mentioning YES against the question ' Will you visit BCI for rechecking?'. The council will inform candidates about the availability of the time slot once the application is received.

It may be noted that BCI will not provide or allow candidates to take a copy of their answer sheet under any circumstances. Candidates can only refer to AIBE official answer key available on the official website for rechecking purposes if required.

Q: When will AIBE result be announced?

A: The BCI will declare AIBE result 2023 in the last week of February. The result are provided in the form of qualifying status and no total or sectional marks is given to candidates. Those who qualify in AIBE exam will be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP).

Q: How to check AIBE result 2023?

There are no minimum marks or age requirements to take the AIBE XVII (17) exam.
Important: You must pass the AIBE Exam 2023 within two years of receiving your Diploma.

No need to worry. For corrections in already submitted application forms, candidates have to write a mail to BCI requesting the corrections along with the application number.
