A relative of mine is in the final semester of this course, and I envy the experience he has gained there. The dean of that school is Tom Goldestien who earlier used to be the head of Columbia School of Journalism. Students can finish a semester abroad, go for summer schools in one of the finest journalism schools of the world, and can actually cherry pick the electives they wish to study. I was surprised to know that he was taught research methodology right from his second year of college, because I touched basics of research only when I began my Masters degree.
