MSW programme is the most ideal in Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Social Sciences Centre. This is because it attracts talented students who go on to make a significant difference in society. The MSW course covers a wide range of topics which include: Counseling, Human Resource Development and Community Development. This programme also boasts an experienced and authoritative faculty team that possess years of experience in social work, thus ensuring effective teaching. The College of Social Sciences, M.S.W., a part of Bharati Vidyapeeth has different types of scholarships available to undergraduate students. The aim of these grants is to assist deserving candidates particularly those coming from poor families. For instance, some of these financial aid programs are based on merit while others depend on neediness or if applicants belong to certain geographical areas or communities. Furthermore, students who have excelled in playing sports, engaging in artistic activities or performing well in culture are granted fee reductions by the institution. Professor PhDs have been there for long time also have taught in universities, researched extensively and worked as practitioners bringing practical knowledge into class room.Another strength is that the teaching staff has low student to teacher ratio meaning that students are able to receive individual attention. Initially, candidates should meet the minimum eligibility criteria which include holding a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university that has a minimum aggregate score of 50% to 55%. Subsequently, they are required to appear for an entrance examination organized by the center and this evaluates their knowledge, skills and aptitude towards social work. Once they have cleared the entrance test, however, candidates get shortlisted for a group discussion and personal interview whereupon their communication skills as well as critical thinking abilities will be tested alongside other motivating factors about pursuing career prospects in this sector. Eventually, based on how well one performed throughout all stages of selection process together with other relevant factors including personal attributes, selected candidates are admitted into the MSW program.
