Being a component of Symbiosis International (Deemed institution), Symbiosis Medical College for Women (SMCW) in Pune is typically classified as a private or deemed institution. The state quota system, which applies to government and certain private institutions associated with state universities, usually does not apply to private and deemed universities. For SMCW admissions: All India Quota (AIQ): The All India Quota is frequently used by deemed universities to distribute seats. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) oversees the centralized NEET UG/PG counseling procedure, which is used for admissions. Management Quota: Seats may be set aside under this category; they may have a different fee schedule but are nonetheless filled on the basis of merit.
