With an SC category rank of 41,242 in JEE Main, it is highly unlikely that you will secure admission to Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in any National Institute of Technology (NIT) through JoSAA counselling. Generally, the closing SC ranks for CSE in NITs range between 1,000 and 6,000, while for ECE, they extend up to around 12,000, depending on the institute and quota. Your rank is significantly beyond these typical cutoffs. Even in CSAB Special Rounds, where vacant seats are filled, the chances of getting CSE or ECE at an NIT with this rank remain extremely low.
