No, candidates must note that the scores achieved after calculation of scores using the marking scheme of the exam is the raw sore. This score will not be used for ranking or result preparation. Rather, TSCHE will convert the raw scores into normalised scores and that will be used for result preparation and ranking. Since the question paper is different for each session, there is a possibility that the candidates may compare themselves to the variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers on the same subject. Therefore, TS EAMCET scores are normalised for the preparation of the result. The main aim of the Normalization is to ens... View more

This can differ from person to person and the difficulty of the exams you're aiming at. However, as a thumb rule, 3 months of dedicated preparation time to quantitative ability should help you sail through if you're an average student in possession of the right study materials and mock test series.

Hello Himanshu,
It's very heartening to know your dream of appearing for JEE. Let me point out that, syllabus for JEE Mains is same as that of 12th of CBSE. There is absolutely no difference. Hence books prescribed by CBSE for their students are the best for JEE Mains. JEE Advanced is totally different cup of tea. Here too syllabus is same but questions are invariably original and are based on concepts. Hence rather than mugging up answers, understanding of concepts is a must.
