Hi,
Attending coaching for preparation of NATA exams are not compulsory. Coaching will only help you chart or keep a check on your progress in preparation process. There are certain essential differences between CAT and GMAT.
1.) Quants section of CAT is tougher than GMAT. In CAT, you can afford to skip questions, but in GMAT, you cannot do that.
2.) If you don’t do well in CAT, then next year you can take CAT again. If you don’t do well in GMAT, you can retake GMAT after few months. Speed and accuracy is essence of both.
3.) CAT cost: Rs.2000 approximately for per-form.
4.) GMAT: Rs.16k approximately for per appearance.
I hope this helps.

Dear Student,
For any professional exam specifically for CA/CS/CWA.
I would suggest you to refer the study material issued by the institute itself as at the end of the day, the question paper will be from these only.
Though you can refer books by teachers but refer them only after you have completed the practice manuals of the institute.
For costing, you can refer to Ashish Kalra.
All the very best.
Good Luck!
