Hello Ashvini,The UGC NET was successfully held from 18th December to 22nd December and the result has been declared for the exam. The NTA conducted UGC NET exam in different cities. Hope you are doing well. It's quite tough to get NIT with 1853 OBC rank but there is a possibility you will get it because the ranks of NITs limits to 2000.

Do apply for B.Arch admission at NIT-Calicut.

For a general candidate from another state, only spot round may get you to JMI.
Though the scenario may get easy for home state, Muslim, OBC and women students.
Still, you have got good marks, do not lose hope.
