Your NIFT CAT paper might still be evaluated despite forgetting to mark "done." However, to confirm, contact NIFT authorities directly. They'll provide clarity on their evaluation process and whether the omission affects scoring.
The syllabus for CAT and TANCET are quite similar but has only one key difference. Though both exams cover the same core quantitative ability, verbal ability and reading comprehension, and data interpretation & logical reasoning sections. You can definitely use CAT study material for these sections in your TANCET preparation. However, TANCET has an additional section called "Analysis of Business Situations" which is not present in the CAT exam.

Jawaharlal Nehru University offers UG courses only in foreign languages. They include B.A. (Hons) in French, German, Korean, Persian, Arabic, Pashto, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. People who have a Diploma course of one year or more in these subjects can directly join the second year of B.A. Hons as Lateral Entry. So you couldn't opt for hons in English because they don't offer it. They provide Masters in English (PG) course.
Hope this helps.
