<p>In general, the total duration of the Assam NEET UG counselling is of three to four months. The total number of counselling rounds is also around three to four. On an average, each round is conducted for a duration of one month. The exact durtion will be updated once the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam announces the round-wise schedule of the Assam NEET counselling 2025. The number of rounds may exceed in case vacant seats are left after the last round of counselling. In that case the overall duration or the tenure of the counselling will also extend.&nbsp;</p>

<p>DMER Chennai has allowed free exit only after Round-I of Tamil Nadu NEET PG counselling. Candidates who participate in Round-2, the mop-up round, and stray vacancy round are not allowed to make a free exit. If thet do not join the allotted institite, their Registration fee, security deposit and tuition fees will be forfeited by the counselling conducting body.&nbsp;</p>

The seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 2 admission is allowed but with forfeiture of admission fees. The seat surrender is not allowed from Round 3 counseling any further till the counseling process is over.</p>
