Hello Jaineel,
The war cry in Maharashtra is same. As per me, if one studies well nothing is difficult and what we don't study is extremely difficult. MHTCET is based on 12th syllabus of state's board while JEE Mains syllabus is same as CBSE.
But yes there is perception that JEE Mains is tougher than MHTCET.

Certainly! In MHT CET, scholars can study biotechnology courses. To take MHT CET, which is the entrance for engineering and pharmacy courses in Maharashtra where you can study bio-technology among other options like information technology etc., then a student who has just completed 12th grade and wants to pursue a bachelor’s degree in this field must necessarily do so. There are some best colleges such as VJTI Mumbai, COEP Pune or SGGS Nanded that accept admission through MHT CET marks. So if you wish to join these colleges then it means that you must sit for their individual entrance tests followed by counseling session... View more

Hello, hope you are doing well.
Yes, definitely, you are eligible to get NIT on the basis of OBC NCL ranking because with CRL ranking, it may not be possible to get an NIT. You should try for MANIT Bhopal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, etc.
Also, you have a chance to opt for IITs also. Find the best one and go for counselling.
All the best.

The syllabus of MHT CET is not similar to the Maharashtra Board class 11 and 12. Only a few chapters of Class 11 are covered in MHT CET syllabus. However, the entire class 12 syllabus is part of MHT CET syllabus. Also, the dificulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains.

In general, it can take around 6 months to prepare for the MHT CET exam. Students who are currently studying in class 12 can prepare for MHT CET in even less time as they are in touch with the syllabus. If the candidate is also preparing to take JEE Main, then no separate preparation for MHT CET is required, beside solving mock tests to get idea of the exam pattern. Candidates who preparing for the MHT CET must know that not all topics covered in class 11 syllabus are asked in MHT CET exam. However, all topics of class 12 are part of MHT CET syllabus.

Yes, other state candidates can apply for the MHT CET exam. It is open to all Indian nationals, including those from other states. However, reservation benefits like fee waivers or seat allotments are typically applicable only for candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State Candidature. While appearing for MHT CET allows other state candidates to compete, IIT JEE scores are generally preferred by some colleges in Maharashtra for admissions to BE/BTech programs.

Yes, you have a chance to get a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) seat in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme seats are only for low-income candidates from the open or general category. If you belong to the reserved category, then you better go for reserved category seats, as there's hardly any difference in the fee for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and reserved category seats. I hope this will help you.

According to my knowledge with a score of 150 out of 200 in the MHT CET, you have a strong chance of securing admission to COEP Technological University in Pune, especially in certain engineering branches, maybe not for top branch. Top branches like Computer or IT are highly competitive, so admission there isn't guaranteed. You'll likely get other core branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical depending on cutoffs. If you wish for Computer Engineering you need a percentile of 99.8+.

However, there is an alternative option: admission through JEE Main Scores. To find out if a college accepts JEE Main scores, research their websites and follow their specific procedures. The Maharashtra Government Website and educational consultancies or online resources can provide lists of colleges accepting JEE Main scores in Maharashtra. It i... View more
