Oonce you complete your post-graduation from Science stream then you will be eligible to appear for the CSIR NET not UGC NET.
Don't worry if you heard CSIR NET for the first time. It is the exam which is conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) with the same aim as UGC NET.
But the little difference between these two exam is that UGC NET is conducted for non-Science stream in more than 80 subjects and CSIR NET exam is conducted only for Science stream, only in 5 subjects.
As per your plans if you complete your M.Sc. from Chemistry then you can appear for CSIR NET in Chemical Science.

Dear Ambika, It purely depends on your interest areas and career aspirations. If your interest lies in technical knowledge in agriculture field, go for M.Sc. But if you are more interested in general management, and want to make a combination of your technical skills in agri with management skills then go in for MBA !
An M.Sc. Will give you option of working in technical /academic areas where as an MBA will give you general management skills. LPU curates both the programs. According to me, you should opt MBA biotech after completing your UG in biotech, it will flourish your skills in that particular field and you will have greater chances of succeeding or if you have interested in any other field then go for it.
