GD is usually conducted to know about awareness about current affairs but instead of it mostly college prefers to conduct essay writings on general topics if students giving the suitable points for the topic are usually get selected and put forward for the PI round for final selection.

Go for under graduation in aerospace or aeronautical engineering, then post-graduation in this only. Try to qualify GATE exam with very good marks and get the seat in IIT for PG degree. Try for ISRO, DRDO etc. These conduct their own exam for vacancy.
