You are supposed to complete B.Sc first before thinking about M.Sc with a minimum of 55% at least.
Lateral entry is difficult to obtain in foreign universities; you have to check with the universities directly. It will be more challenging in Canada, since you have a three-year degree, whereas they don't accept three-year degree, but accept four years. You will be accepted only if all credit point requirements are met.
It is a good decision. But regular degree will have more value than distance education. While coming to salary also, it differs. If you are interested to do job and also study regular course at same time, you can manage your time in both of them like 4 days job and 2 days college ( if you take these choice, it will be highly risk one). You can do 2 years job and later, you can take a break in your job and do M.Sc. Biotechnology. And after your M.Sc. You can have lot of job opportunities. It's up to you which choice to select. Your life is in your hands.
