The MHT CET cutoff for Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT) can vary each year depending on factors such as the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability. The cutoff is typically released after the MHT CET exam results, indicating the minimum score required for admission to the institute's various B.E./B.Tech programs.

Generally, popular branches like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering have higher cutoffs, while other branches may have slightly lower cutoffs. The cutoff is also influenced by the applicant's category (open, OBC, SC/ST, etc.).

With a 45 percentile in MHT CET PCM, securing a seat in a good data Science engineering programme in Thane, especially in a top-tier college, is highly unlikely. While you might find some private colleges that accept lower scores, the competition for data science, a popular and competitive field, is intense, and a 45 percentile falls far short of the cutoff scores for most reputable institutions.

Yes, you can secure admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme at Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT) without MHT-CET if you meet alternative criteria. For students from outside Maharashtra, JEE Main scores are accepted for admission. Additionally, some seats may be allocated under institute-level quotas or management quotas, where direct admission might be possible based on 12th-grade academic performance and other eligibility requirements. It's recommended to contact the institute's admissions office for detailed information about such options.

Well, you also get admission to MGM's College of Engineering and Technology for B.E./B.Tech without MHT CET. The college also takes the scores of JEE Main instead of merit-based admissions. Another route for direct admission is the management quota. For this quota, there are no entrance examinations required, but rather basic eligibility criteria for admission: minimum 50% in Class 12 (PCM) (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category). Contact the college admission office or official website for details on the process and seat intake.
