For IITs, you need to work hard. You will first need to crack JEE Mains and then then JEE Advanced. Tips to crack it comprise:
- Try to understand every concept.
- Try to clear all the basic concepts.
- Try to solve as many as numerical in PCM.
- In maths, the question are basic but will appear with a twist.
- Chemistry questions come from the NCERT books of class 11th and 12th.
- Try to study smart.
- Solve as many as last year sets of JEE's paper for better understanding of the type of content.
There is no sure shot analysis of different online institutes for the preparation of JEE Mains. There is no ranking, hence, it is not wise to guess. Dropping a year doesn't guarantee you admission in medical courses. You need to work very hard during this drop year. If you are confident enough then go for it.
While preparing for CMAT, you should give equal importance to all the topics. Try to have a glance at each and every topic because we cannot predict from where things will come. You should study every topic thoroughly. You can get some inner sight after solving a couple of previous years question papers.
It depends on your goals entirely, if you are looking for high salary placements, you must get admission to one of the IIMS, XLRI, IBS or FM'S and for that CAT high percentile is important. If you can manage well join some job and study hard for CAT as well. This will add up to your work experience. You may also apply abroad if its feasible.
