Admission to Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering and Research (APCOER) for B.E./B.Tech courses usually is based on a valid score in MHT CET or JEE Main exams. Direct admission without MHT CET is not usually offered. Admission is, however, open to those with valid JEE Main scores as well. Admission is centralized counselling based on these entrance exams. Hence, in the absence of MHT CET or JEE Main scores, admission to APCOER's B.E./B.Tech courses cannot be done.

It is difficult to predict admission chances accurately as it depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the competition level. However, based on the previous year's admission trends, a score of 130 in MHT CET might be on the lower side for admission to the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). The cut-off for COEP varies every year and across different categories. For Nomadic tribes-1 category, the cut-off might be lower than the General category, but it still depends on the number of seats available and the competition level in that category. As per my knowledge the chances of MH-CET in 2018 for engineering are very slim. I recently read in newspapers that JEE is going to replace all other state engineering exams. However, they might include aptitude tests in order for a person to qualify for giving JEE Mains. They are thinking of cutting short half the number of applicants in the first round i.e. aptitude round itself. But good news is; that they will inform well in advance so that the preparations aren't hampered. Don't be surprised if there are no state exams in 2018.
