JIPMER conducts its own entrance examination for admission into MBBS courses like AIIMS as per directives of Supreme Court of India. It doesn't accept any other entrance examination score.

<p>No, Assam University does not offer direct admission. At the UG, PG, doctorate, and certificate levels, Assam University provides a variety of courses in many different specialisations. The majority of the programmes are in the Engineering, Arts, Social Science, and Business streams. The national admission tests are used to determine who gets into M.Tech and MBA programmes. However, admission for the rest of the courses are based on CUET UG/PG results or cutoff.</p>

<p>Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) <strong>released the Assam HS routine 2026</strong>. The AHSEC Class 12 exams 2026 will be conducted from <strong>Februqary 11 to March 16, 2026</strong>. Assam Higher Secondary Board exams are held in two shifts. The first shift exams is held from <strong>9 am to 12 pm</strong> and the second shift exams from <strong>1:30 pm to 4:30 pm</strong>. <p>Both theoretical and practical exams are held to check student's knowledge in the papers in the AHSEC HS exams. There are a total of five subjects in Assam HS exams and each paper contan a total of 100 marks. A few papers inclucing Physicis, Chemistry, Social Science have both theory and practical exams. 70 marks are allocated in theory and a total of 30 marks are given in practicals.
