You need to appear in CAT exam and you will be offered admission based on the merit lists which gets prepared after CAT score, GD/PI score.

The questions that are asked are either around general knowledge and current affairs and a few questions on QA and language.

Choose Anna University or PSG, as they have the best placement records. Madras University does not have good placement records.

You can give preference to DU, BHU, Jamia, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Haryana. You can also preference to Central University more near to you.

UPES has offered handsome packages in CS branch. As there are many specializations, the package varies from branch to branch. The highest package offered was around 16 Lacs per annum. In my knowledge, the max package in MMM from ON campus placement has been about 6.5 lacks per annum. Although people have gone for higher packages in the off campus placement. What eventually matters is the ability rather than the college. So, choose wisely.
