Sunny, it is necessary for admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra rest you can check the criteria for management quota seats which generally have high fees.
Another option is try for admission in private universities. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.
Good luck.

For government colleges in Pune or its region you need to take MHCET exam, however if you want private one’s then you can take admission through JEE Mains.
Hello Keshav,
Preparation for any exam is actually a very simple affair. Firstly, find out syllabus, make time table for studies. Each subject should be given time everyday. Time must be assigned for exercise & Pranayam everyday.
Take mock tests every week. Brush up on weak areas. That's it.
Hi Vishal,
In the last year, it was 95.37 percentile. They will consider class 10th, 12th, graduation and CET exam scores. Then, you have to appear for a GD and PI.
All the best.
