2. February MAT applications are already out and the last date is 24 January.
3. MHCET forms will be out soon.

Hi Vaibhavi,
The last date to submit the application form will be 23rd March 2017. Candidates can also fill the form with late fee of Rs. 500 from 24th March to 30th March 2017.

Please go through the eligibility criteria in detail on the website of DTE, Maharashtra. You will know about the categories which are eligible to appear for MHT-CET.
For all India seats, DTE will announce it along with the result the of entrance exam.

12th board marks are considered only for eligibility to apply for engineering admissions. No weight-age is given to board marks in the calculation of MHT-CET rank. One must secure a minimum of 50% in PCM (individually) in order to satisfy the criteria.

Verbal Ability:
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. It will also help you to get in touch with basic vocab. Don't miss out the editorial page. There are all India entrance exams and certain state entrance exams for MBA which are conducted by respective bodies of the central government or state government. MHT CET is conducted by Maharashtra government and similarly, other entrances can be university or college specific.

Yes, it is decided on the basis of rank. But there are some chances that you will get petroleum engineering.
This time, they are not telling the rank beforehand. They will tell you if you will go for counselling or not. So there are more chances to get petroleum than before.
