Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat,

Minimum 2-3 hours, put all your effort in preparing for exam, no distractions. Start from Quantitative ability, then work your way till Verbal reasoning, and do it for 6 months at least. Do it in the sense for cracking IAS exams, so it will be useful for other exams other than CAT itself. Follow newspapers study page, they update you with the latest questions and youtube tutorials for faster tricks in Math and reasoning. You'll be ready to crack any exam leave alone CAT.

It is difficult to secure a seat in Jamia Millia Islamia across all streams and courses. However, it is not a bad decision. The only way is to focus how to excel in the entrance examination. Remember even its 100 to 200 students applying for a single seat this year, you still have a good shot ATIT. Why? Its because what you will need to score well is a good grasp in basic English (including basic literary terms), good comprehension skills, strong command on spellings and grammatical tools etc. Also, your textbook content should be on your fingertips, as directly or indirectly they may aid.

Dear Rupam,
You can get the question paper in any of the leading publication (the latest one) like Arihant or any other books of your respective subject. And if any of your friend has appeared for the recent NET July 2018 exam then you can ask for him or her with the help of his roll number and application number.

Each of the coaching centers has the capability to enhance your confidence for CAT and frankly speaking, all depends on your enthusiasm on how you want to manage your studies. Coaching is just a part of your preparation which will take you to the level of competition. As you are confused with your options, I personally would like to suggest you to go for TIME because their All India mocks are the key to cope up in a better way for your preparation. So, TIME would be the recommendable suggestion for you.

It is quite challenging to pass the SLAT with one month of preparation, but you can do so with focused efforts. The Symbiosis Law School entrance test is comparably easier than other law school entrance tests, such as CLAT. You need to prepare four sections in total with practice for the SLAT.
1. You can start with the syllabus and previous year's paper analysis.
2. The analysis will help you decide which topics need more focus with the time you have at hand.
3. The SLAT gives significant importance to reasoning; therefore, you can focus on being well versed in both the legal and analytical reasoning sections.
4. For GK... View more

Hi,
On a personal note, I'd suggest you that dropping a year for CLAT demands a lot of sacrifice and time but also, on the other hand, it is totally worth it. In simple words, I can just tell you this and another if you feel like seizing the current opportunity, you should evaluate and make your choice wisely.

The advantages are: You don't need to burden yourself in studying for NEET, means they will give you periodical tests so that you can revise your chapters often instead of studying them like a new one. You will also get a good guidance for NEET in clearing the concepts and you may also learn solving techniques.
The disadvantages are: You need to focus on both your board exams and NEET (if you are in 12th). So you need to balance both. You also need to learn for both simultaneously with full focus and concentration without losing anything.

Educational Counselor,

TOEFL- If you are proficient in English, then you should not spend more than a total of 15 hrs. Just solve few sample tests. Same goes for IELTS. If you are moderately proficient, spend 2 hours every day for 3 weeks.
For SAT and ACT: It depends on your proficiency and your target score. If you are aiming for the top 10 percentile and also are quite proficient already, then spend 3 hours for 2 weeks solving papers and revision. If you have just started preparing, then spend 2 hours for 3 months to gain good understanding of the test pattern and to do well.
