Firstly, have faith in yourself. Remember where there is a will there is a way. State with determination. Assign time for each subject and stick to it. Assign some time for exercise and yoga. Take mock test every week.

That purely depends on whether you like to study alone or with a group. Also, if you need hand holding in preparation, you should choose classroom course as it helps in learning new methods with the peer group and you have instant access to get your problem solved.

Dear Subrata,
A year loss for MAT exam will affect because for clearing MAT exam it takes less than a month preparation, but if you are graduating this year and targeting admissions in next year I suggest you to prepare for CAT/XAT/SNAP/IIFT because these exams carries value.and if you manages to score anything above 85% then you will be getting in top 20' business schools.

I would suggest you to join TIME or IMS as they have a pan India presence and have a good question bank of mock papers and help you with the preparation for GDPI process also.

You should first improve your calculation speed. For physics practice numerical ability and try to get accurate answers. For chemistry organic chemistry should be on your tips.

Arihant Publications Quantum CAT is good for quantitative section.
If you are still unknown about the CAT preparation, it is better you to go a crash course in any of the CAT coaching Institutes.

Life science has huge syllabus, so it is very difficult to complete full syllabus. Hence, once try to first find the subject in which you can score well, and you are good at, also I would suggest you to please join some coaching institute for the same, as they provide you the best of ideas and tricks to crack NET.

Hello Aakash,
Admission in FMS is possible as you need more than 50% in your graduation and last years cut-off was 98 percentile in CAT exam. So, now you need to work on your CAT exam.

You can surely try this year for IIT-JEE Mains. For clearing Advanced you need to have 75% in class 12th or to be in the top 20 percentile. You can take a drop of 1 year, but you need to be very dedicated and committed towards preparation. Constant tests will give you an idea about your performance.

Gap periods are acceptable in US. I assume you are applying to US universities. Provide a statement of activity along with your SOP. Take part in extracurriculars and voluntary work in addition to the college preparation.

JEE Mains is an all India entrance exam, so it is going to be tough. If you have to score high, you have to be good in physics. Chemistry consists of similar reaction, so it helps to score high. You need to be good in mathematics to score or crack the logic.
To prepare for JEE Mains, you must solve at least 50 MCQs per day per subject. Time management is the most important thing for any competitive exam. Usage of the shortcut is required to save time and score high.
In mathematics, don't prepare half section. You should study every section completely and then move on to the next section.

Undoubtedly, NCERT books are mandatory for the preparation of such kind of exams but you should ensure that you understand every term in depth for that you always go for 1,2 other books like Pradeep’s or Dinesh.

It is never too late to start. Start by refreshing your fundamentals. Follow your basic physics, chemistry, mathematics books. The best way to start is, refresh the chapters you are good at first. It will give you plenty of confidence and you can move to other chapters after that.
My suggestion is, read the overviews first for all possible chapters you are willing. Then start details one by one. In a month, you can really feel positive approach and confidence.
