Now its really very easy, the difficult part in English is the vocabulary part. It will become very easy for you if you just jot down 5 different words each day and just memorize it (along with their synonyms and antonyms). That's all. Your selection in FTII is completely based on your interest, dedication and most importantly your knowledge about each and every detail about the medium. For preparation there are different books I would suggest you to go through the Manorama Yearbook 2017 for current affairs and general knowledge. For books for film studies you can refer to Film Art and some other books like How to read a film. Also internet can help you the most like referring to websites giving information on films and YouTube videos. Finally your dedication and hard work will help you the most.

Divide the topics from most important to least important as per the weightage from each subject. Don't include tough subjects continuously. Try to mix and match the topics. If you assign a tough concept from the quant, choose an easy topic from IPMAT verbal ability section. In this way, you can build interest to study more and not get bored.
