<p>The CAT VARC section is dominated by RC questions. Out of 24 questions about 14-16 are based on Reading Comprehension passages and the rest of them are based on parajumbles, para completion, etc.</p><p>CAT has about 12-16 RC question. Since, it is not mandatory to solve all the questions, candidates can maximize their scores by leaving out the questions related to the passage they find the toughest. There is negative marking in CAT so candidates must ensure that they mark only the correct options or do not mark any option at all.</p>

<p>TANCET exam does not have any descriptive type questions. All the questions in the TANCET question paper are objective type questions, also known as Multiple Choice Questions. Anna University design the TANCET test paper to ask questions with four answers options. Out of these four options, one answers is correct, while other three answers are incorrect. Candidates have to choose the right answers to fetch 1 mark. For every incorrect response, candidates will get a education of 1/3 marks. All 100 questions in the TANCET exam are objective type.</p>

<p>Students will be given 12 additional questions if they finish all 130 questions within 3 hours. Three questions will be available from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and Logical Reasoning. Students will not be able to go back to previously answered 130 questions, once they start solving additional questions.</p>

<p>The authorities will allow the candidates to answer additional questions, if they are able to complete the 130 questions the BITSAT paper before the duration of the examination ends. There will be 12 additional questions that the candidates will be able to attempt within the remaining time. It is to be noted that the additional questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology sections and Logical Reasoning sections. From each subject, 3 additional questions will be prepared. Candidates who attempt the additional questions will not be allowed to go back and correct their previously answered 130 questions.</p>
