Hence you can pursue the 11th and 12th in any educational board in India after the IGCSE's 10th. Your parents are correct you need to take a degree course before appearing for any of the government exam like Combined Defense Services or for research exams like CSIR NET for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) .
You can pursue engineering degree in the the field of your interest as it will help you in both of the fields, defense and research field.

Yes you will face some problems because every employer will ask you about these drop. But if you drop after 12th for some entrance preparation there will not be any problem, the problem starts if you drop after your graduation and do nothing.

There are a lot of private institutes also which give training such as Frankfin for aviation.

If you had completed or appearing in intermediate with science including Maths, then you can apply for various competitive entrance tests to get admission in engineering colleges. Animation course is good but the starting career and growth is very slow in this field. This career is very limited today but future aspects are good. When world will achieve complete digitization then this course and career would be at peak level. As of now it has really a low scope.

Definitely, yes if you are in plus two now or would be shortly completing plus two in one or two years. It's just not a Bachelor's degree which will make you get a good career in animation. It is actually the three years of time, effort, learning the various subjects, practising them for thousands of hours, becoming technically sound and many other skills which make a good animator. For achieving all this, a lot of time is required. A Bachelor's degree in animation gives you this time. So, in a degree program, if you develop the various skills, then you will get a good career in animation.
