Although all the streams in engineering provide equal opportunities more or less but CSE/IT is considered to be best among these. You can also consider ECE/EEE as this one has many openings in Govt sector. Also your university selection should be based on placement records and rankings of the university as university plays a vital role in providing the placement opportunities after the degree.
