Hello,
Fundamentally the syllabus if both these exams is similar. Of course, former is as per syllabus of state board while latter is as per CBSE syllabus. But then, JEE is different cup of tea. Fundamentals are required to be upto date. Hence, it follows that if a student is preparing for JEE, then I am sure it will be much simpler to clear MH-CET. You will have to google for information on the latest books. As counsellor we cannot rec a particular book. Best wishes to you.

The MHT CET cut off of B.Tech in Computer engineering at VJTI Mumbai is very high in the All India category. The latest trends obtained in General - All India category indicate that the prospective closing percentile usually fluctuates around 99.96 and above due to current trends. What this entails is that in the highly competitive program, it will only take a near perfect score in the MHT CET to score admission into the same.

The cutoff is determined by the Maharashtra Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and, as such, is changed every year according to categories (General, OBC, SC/ST, etc.). As you are from up and you have not appeared in management CET, so you should go for DTE Maharashtra through JEE Mains. Your score in board and JEE Mains is also good. Best of luck.
