See, if you have state domicile certificate then you may get the college in the second round of counselling but if you are of outside Maharashtra then it will be difficult for you to get into the college at this rank.

Yes, you can apply for them. Though, the cutoff for good government colleges in Pune is very high through Mains and MHCET as well. Hence, you are likely to get good private colleges with it.

Your MHTCET marks will not help you to get admissions in Madhya Pradesh. The best colleges in Madhya Pradesh are GSITS, Jabalpur Engineering College, MITS Gwalior, GECU Ujjain, RGPV Bhopal. You'll only be able to get RGPV Bhopal and GECU Ujjain with your marks.

Depends on which stream you wish to choose. Secondly, it also depends on the overall results. If the results are very good then the cut-off might rise and accordingly. Hope this helps!

Hi Gaurang.
This is a choice your son has to make. If he is weak in quants, he should not opt for engineering. Besides engineering, there are other good options like architecture, computer applications, design, etc. He can take a psychometric test too in order to know his aptitude.
