IIMs will be difficult, you may get a call from the newest IIMs. You will get a call from IITs. NITIE will be difficult as their cutoffs are above 97 percentile.

Cut-offs according to 2017 counseling:-
IIT, Bombay - opening rank-749 & closing rank-2036.
IIT, Kharagpur- Opening rank-2732 & closing rank-3451.
IIT, Madras- Opening rank-1506 & closing rank-2995.
IIT, Kanpur- Opening rank - 1474 & closing rank-3053.

Its very Good you want yo go for IIT but for getting seat there is tuff.
You can start your GATE preparation from starting you last year or you can drop one year also if you are keen determined about getting admission in IIT. you have to get good marks in both B.tech and GATE for this.

No, it's not required. JEE Mains 2 paper only for get admission in nits in architecture. If you get admission in architecture in iits then you need to qualify for the AAT exam after JEE advance.

Well, the cut-off seems to vary every year so we cannot predict the exact marks needed to get into any IIT's, however roughly you need around 150 marks in JEE Advanced to get any good branch in any IIT's if you belong to general category.

Obviously, you will get as your rank will be around 1000-1500. If you belong to OBC/SC/ST then you will get CSE in the top 5 IITs. In case of general category, you will get CSE in IIT Roorkee or IIT BHU or IIT Guwahati. But from this year, this trend may change. Best of luck!

As you want CSE in IIT then your JEE Advanced exam rank should be less than 4k as only then you can get admission in IIT for CSE branch.

There are total 11000 seat across 23 IITs, in which they are to be filled up with general students and category students.

The admission into IITs for post graduate management course is done through CAT exam. For post graduate engineering programs, you need to clear GATE exam with a good score while for M.Sc and other such courses, IIT JAM scores are used.
