College selection expert,

Hi Sanketik,
For getting any of these branches in any of the IITs, you need to get rank under 5000, for which you need around 160 -170 marks in JEE Advanced.
Best of luck.

Current Student- MNNIT, Allahabad,

Getting into IIT take a lot of hardship and dedication. For an SC candidate, I think securing 40% marks are sufficient to get into IIT (but it depends on which IIT do you want to go for and also the branch you choose matters). The other thing that affects the result is the difficulty of the question paper
but in general, I think 40% is suffice.

Hi,
You need to choose science with ( physics, chemistry and maths subjects ) and have to sit for JEE Mains exam through that only you would get admission in IIT if you get a good rank in JEE Mains.
First step: You should have strong foundation in PCM.
Second step: should maintain the time table for school study and coaching for JEE.
Third step: Think positive and have self-confidence.
