NEET is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam organised by The CBSE. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS/ dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD/MS) in government or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE). NEET-UG replaced the All India Pre-Medical Test(AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves in 2013.

I think you know that to practice in India you have to qualify MCI screening test. And, passing this exam is tougher than NEET, so prepare for NEET.
USA, New Zealand, Canada, UK are best option for pursuing medical degree (MD), because there is no need to qualify MCI screening test. You can practice (clinical) in India.

No, there is no such requirement. You need not to appear for NEET to pursue veterinary science. The NEET-UG examination is for pursuing MBBS and BDS courses only.
