Mr Jayant Naralikar is India's best known astrophysicist, but that does not mean everyone may like this subject. My sincere advice would be to go for that subject which fascinates you. After all, what is going to happen 5/10/15 years from now cannot be predicted. However, if you study subject of your choice, then throughout your lifetime you will enjoy.
