In domestic sectors, it is helpful to be aware of regional languages of the places where the airline operates. So that they may put you on a roster for those flights. In case of an international airline, the most important thing here is the same, to know the language. If you are targeting some international airline then learn some foreign languages apart from English. You may go for French, Thai, German, Chinese or Japanese. A lot of airlines operate to destinations where such languages are spoken. All the best.
English is must, as it is the basic criteria for any job. Apart from that, few airlines in abroad give preference to Bengali, French, and Mandarin etc.
In India, salary packages are comparable in almost all the airlines. The regulations decided by DGCA play a dominant role in deciding their working hours and duties.
There is no discrimination in salary packages based on gender. The salary differs only on the basis of seniority and fleet in India.

Maybe perhaps due to this, the cabin crew is allowed to be current only on two types of aircraft at any given time. This requires additional training that is i... View more
Yes, in India you will see most of the airlines only hire female cabin crew.
So, the ratio here is higher for female as compared to male.
In international airlines also the ratio is more or less similar as per my knowledge.
You can apply with Frankfinn Institute, Delhi. There is no other college that can offer you the right opportunity in the aviation field. I am not aware of the fee structure.
Thanks.
