It is different for everyone since everyone has their speed. It also depends on the paper- if it's lengthy or not. There is a Cool-off time of 15 minutes in addition to the writing time. Use the 'Cool-off time' to get familiar with questions and to plan your answers. Read questions carefully before answering. Read the instructions carefully and you can analyze your entire question paper, no matter which subject it is, and mentally set time for each section. Since there are MCQs too, you can solve them in the 15-minute cool-off time and thus save a lot of time.

I am not sure from where the one will get the question bank for IMUCET but it is not as tough as you think. For UG admissions, if you are preparing for other competitive exams then that's enough for IMUCET preparation. For PG admissions, if I talk about M.Tech then there are several books available for engineering competitive exams like GATE or engineering service exams. Prepare from those, I am sure you will score well. The questions asked in IMUCET are very straightforward formula based which also includes a little bit of easy English and simple GK syllabus.
