HI Subhash,
Focus on solving previous year JEE papers and do a through review of these papers. Go through the answers and figure out concepts which are not clear. NCERT is good enough to clear your concepts so refer them whenever you require clarity on something.
Also try to solve some timed online tests given by reputed test prep centres such as resonance, bansals, allen, aakash etc. This will help you in managing the time for each section and also provide exposure to different kinds of questions that can come up
Hi Chetan, there is no perfect answer. How you prepare depends on your own level of competency. The main thing to remember is to work on both your strengths and weakness. It is seen many times that while test takers are working on ways to improve their weak areas they fumble later on areas which they were good at. Take mock tests, practice as much as you can. Read a lot and keep yourself updated. Above all take study breaks and relax. All the best.

Hi, you can try solving previous year's question papers for JEE Mains and JEE Advance to check your level of preparation. If you are scoring more than 50% in exam-like conditions in these papers, you can keep your preparation up for IIT. Otherwise, you should go for the MH-CET. The MH-CET is comparably less difficult than JEE and can get you into good government engineering colleges in Maharashtra. You can go for JEE in the second phase, which will be held on April 20, 2023. Solving questions from previous years will not only give you an idea of the types of questions asked but also of your level of preparation. Also, you must be confiden... View more

Hi A P,
Gap years are normal and students normally take a year gap for entrance exam preparation but the acceptance will depend on the university. If you wanted to study in the US, why did you waste a year for JEE Mains? Instead, you should have been preparing for SAT. So these are some questions they will ask. Now, you must devote all your time to SAT preparation and do really well. You must also take your TOEFL. Admissions will depend on your overall profile, SOP, LOR, extracurriculars, etc.

Hello Dhirendra,
You still have time to look for a job until the next batch passes out. Gaining an experience of atleast 3+ years is always recommended before opting for CAT and other entrance examinations. I would suggest you to opt for a job first and gain experience. The market is currently over saturated with candidates having Masters degree, but with no experience.
I hope it helps.
You could take tuition class from TIME, IMS near your location.

Well, I think I am capable enough to answer the question as I took a drop and cleared JEE then. First of all, it is really necessary to know in what concepts you are sound and in what concepts you can't even handle board level questions. Secondly, as you decided correctly, sitting idle would just make you resistive towards long study hours, which is a basic requirement of JEE. So start studying, I'd suggest start with making a time plan from today until the repeater batch starts. For that, just go through the previous questions that you gave in your coaching or somewhere and analyses what kind of questions went incorrect and you would then... View more

Dear Sanjana,
Preparation for GMAT is quite easy, but scoring is difficult. It is so because our strategy is faulty. Hence make your plan foolproof to get success. Here is an example of a three-hour routine I'd recommend to you. Feel free to start here, but adapt it to fit your needs:
1. 20 minutes: Study weekly the verbal concept.
2. 20 minutes: Study weekly the mathematical concepts.
3. 20 minutes: Do timed verbal practice.
4. 10 minutes: Break time.

First of all, you have to go for Science stream in your higher secondary. Then you can select either PCM / PCB / PCMB combinations. Study all the subjects properly and thoroughly and try to secure excellent person in your higher secondary board as to appear for IISER entrance examination the board percentage is considered. You can go through previous year question papers for your perception of the pattern. All the best.
Your score is very good. It seems you are good at basic subjects and maths too. You can choose engineering as one of the options. Otherwise, BSc in maths and statistics is also fine.
It would be better do +2 again with better preparation and after that choose a good college.
