I haven't been able to understand why exactly you have not been able to get Hons degree, but I can surely help you with M.Sc Biochemistry eligibility which is as below. In order to become eligible for M.Sc Biochemistry, the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks aggregate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and other Life Sciences subjects. If you need specific information about a particular college, please mention the name of the college.
If you opt for Government University or college, then there are cutoffs or you choose for private, then there are Entrance exams you have to participate.

Yes, you can pursue M.Sc Physics after completing B.Tech. I have known a few cases like that. In fact, a person who has scored very well and can clear the NET JEST or exams alike can even directly pursue Ph.D. To pursue M.Sc-Physics, you need only a graduation degree in relevant subject.
