Quantitative Analyst (Credit Risk),

Hello,
Ideal start would be to spend around 2 to 3 hours a day working on the basics of all the three sections. The best thing that you can do is create a timetable and allocate equal time to all the 3 sections. Most of the time, some students make a crucial mistake of only studying their favorite sections, I know this is a tempting option but eventually will lead you to mess-up the sections that you are not good with. As far as timing is concerned, you can dedicate 34 hours per day in weekdays and in weekends 10 hours to 12 hours. You can divide timings like12 hours before you leave for college you can practice topics like Arithmetic,... View more

The NCERT books alone are not enough to crack JEE because they will give knowledge only in concepts and make you understand that
But only if you solve some JEE level problems you may get the real feel of JEE exams.
The previous year papers help you with this. Also, do the mock tests if you are going to choose computer based test.
There is myth that pen and paper is easy that computer based. Actually it is true but the real fact is pen and paper is not lengthy as the candidates need to deal with OMR whereas in CBT the papers will be little lengthy as you need to just make a click.
So focus on whatever you read and solve ma... View more

You are going from science to commerce.
Initially, it might take you some time to understand the basics of commerce, but you'll be fine.
Regular college or not, should completely be your decision.
Anyways once you clear your cpt and proceed ahead with CA course, you have to have your training which might clash from your college.
Plus your CA exams might also clash from your college exams, depending on the college where you get admitted.
However, if the doubt in your mind about joining a regular college or not has creeped up due to your decision of going with CA then it's baseless.

Hi Kriti,
Preparation is the key to doing well on the SAT. Students should start at least in ninth grade, or earlier if they are participating in a seventh grade talent search such as the Duke University TIP Talent Search. When students start preparing early, time is on their side. Waiting until later in high school usually results in more test anxiety and certainly less time to practice.
There are three sections on the SAT: Critical Reading, Math, and W... View more
