Gaurav, you can join a good coaching institute for CAT in your city or you can go for self-study also. In my opinion joining a good coaching is a better option
The major thing that you should follow is the pattern. Maths is given the highest priority with 100 marks and is considered to be the lengthiest paper. Indeed, it is lengthy but the art of choosing questions play a key role here. One has to choose questions at first that are easy to solve and are scoring, then try for the little tough ones and if there is time, go for the difficult. If you choose questions correctly, 60+ in maths can be achieved. Now, physics and chemistry have 50 marks each. For physics, I would say chapters of optics, electrostatic, AC and magnetism are very important. One must be good in waves and kinematics and chemis... View more

In August, I started solving all questions of the chapters from the TIME books and handouts as soon as they were covered in class. Then after 2 weeks or so All India Mock CAT. Hello,
To be perfectly honest, I think you're about to make a mistake. You can choose to make it better or worse, but when we get our teeth into the facts, we realise that just 5 to 10% of dropouts succeed. You must now be aware of the key cause of drop failure. Additionally, it is clear from your questions that your vision has become hazy. Although simple, life is not always simple. After a few months, you can start feeling depressed and worsen the issue. The choice must always be yours; all other advice, including mine, is lost in the ocean's depths.
NEVER DROP! Rather join another engineering college and work hard.

Normally, almost all the entrance tests in the country for MBA programmes are similar. So prepare extensively and selectively like quants, English, verbal, grammar, etc.
You can follow the books like RS Agarwal for quants and for English Wren and Martin. Also, you can follow Barron GMAT books.
Stay updated with current affairs. Solve 10-12 questions of logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude on a daily basis. Fourth section will be Verbal aptitude and for that, you need to brush up your skills.
Refer to Arihant Guide and Arihant Question Bank for preparation because these are best books which even I studied from.
All the best.
