1. Get your basics sorted out.
If you "complete" a topic once, check yourself by deriving, from scratch, from the basics, the formula.
If you can't do the above without resisting the urge to look at the text book,start over.Do read NCERT properly. They do it from the basics.
2. Know what the syllabus is.
Not necessary to stick to the portion, look further if it interests you. But no, do not get into the mathematics of everything. It will confuse you, and from theexampoint of you, it would counter point 1.
3. Keep a cool head.
Sort yourself out, and concentrate only on your question or theory.

For preparing CAT 2017 start practising with basic Quant. questions, you can refer books like Arun Sharma, Trishna. For verbal you need to read newspaper articles daily, practice more on jumbled sentences/para completion. DI-LR again needs practice.
For initial two months start preparing yourself with each week dedicating to a particular section and try to cover the maximum syllabus. After gaining confidence join a good test series and improve on weak topics. You need to utilise your time cautiously.

7 months is more than enough to crack JEE Advance if you follow the right schedule and and practice well. From next year the minimum percentage required for JEE in 12th is 75%, you need to balance that as well.

The allotment of UCEED 2023 seats is based on the 1) UCEED 2023 merit rank of the candidate and 2) choice opted at the time of choice filling. IIT Bombay conducted choice filling process from March 14-31. Candidates who were allocated a merit rank in UCEED 2023 were able to select campuses. Note that the allocation of seats is done institute and category-wise. Candidates who have been allocated seats will have to get their documents verified and pay the admission fees.

Yes. Candidates can take the TSICET mock test without exam registration. Kakatiya University hosts the mock test with a demo login screen. Candidates do not need to enter any login credentials. However, they must click the 'Sign-in' button to proceed with the mock test. During the actual exam, candidates are required to enter their login credentials. They will not be able to start the test without entering the login credentials on the CBT screen. The important exam guidelines, and the questions will appear only after the candidate has enter the login credentials on the exam day.
