The UCEED exam will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A will include Numerical Answer Type NAT Multiple Select Question (MSQ), Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Meanwhile, Part B will include drawing and aptitude-based questions. Note that in the previous edition of the exam, Part B include only sketching-based question. So, starting UCEED 2024, the candidate also needs to prepare for aptitude based questions that will be asked in Part B. Questions for the aptitude section will evaluate the ability of the candidate to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.

Mathematical Ability section and the Analytical Ability section of TSICET exam has an equal question and marks weightage. The Communication Ability section of the TSICET exam has the least number of questions, I. e. 50. While the other two sections have 75 questions each. NBE, the exam conducting body releases exam pattern along with the official brochure which contains crucial details including mode, medium, total number of questions and its type, marking scheme etc. Candidates get 105 minutes to answer 100 multiple choice questions.</p>
