However, one way by which students can make an informed decision would be to talk to the students who had joined the classes and get their honest feedback. With just a Bachelors degree in astrophysics or astronomy, you could work as a research assistant or an assistant at an observatory. Most astrophysicists, however, have PhDs and even post-doctoral study. A Bachelors degree in either physics or astronomy is considered good preparation for becoming an astrophysicist.

Pilot with Air India,

Both of them are hospitality jobs. It should be decided by him depending on his interests and goals. Cabin Crew job shall give him a chance to travel across the globe and explore new cultures. Where in hotel jobs he shall have chance to work in world class hotels and meet entities from all across the globe. Both are good but choice should be made wisely. I would have chosen the career of cabin crew for someone known to me !

Pilot with Air India,

English plays a very important role in getting selected for the position of cabin crew.
Cabin crew form the face of the airline and they deal with a variety of passengers who may or may not know Hindi.
Hence a good command over English is essential. Infact knowledge of some other foreign languages like Arabic, German, French etc. adds to the calibre of a cabin crew.
You must improve on your English by taking some classes, only then you can expect to get selected for cabin crew position.
Good Luck !
