It will be better to prepare for government jobs related to your own branch. If you become able to score good in GATE exam then you will become eligible for jobs in many PSUs. If you have spent four years for B.Tech and then you are preparing for some clerical or banking jobs, then I think it is worthless.
Simply go through your cert first and make your concepts clear of nthe 11th and 12th then move to some coaching for better guidance or go for an online platforms for better understanding and better preparations.

Well, the pattern of AILET is different from CLAT in the way that it includes 150 questions of 1 mark each. The syllabus of AILET includes static GK which is a cumbersome task to do. There is no current GK as such asked but it is more of static and for which you must go through LuCents GK twice or thrice and it shall be enough for the GK portion.
The breakup of questions shall be:
