First of all, it is very important to plan your studies with a clear objective - Have a plan to show what is the current percentage of marks, what subjects are your strength and what are the weak points; go for a weekly timetable; allocate optimum time for strong subjects and more time for weaker ones; make sure to have enough time for food, rest and some relaxation or play. Take up a course based on your interests and skill sets. Arts, Commerce, Sciences are 3 broad categories. Alternately, Diploma and certificate courses can be taken up to. For example -
Arts - Languages, psychology, journalism and media, humanities etc. Sciences - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, electronics
Commerce - Accounts, economics, statistics. ICWA, CA are qualifications you can consider.

If you want to do B.Tech, remember that apart from class 12th, you must do the entrance exam too. If B.Tech is based on your interest, you can choose popular branches like computer Science, information Science and electronics and communication, telecommunication. Alternately, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, IEM are other trending fields with diverse opportunities.

In order to follow in line, take up Bachelor of engineering in electronics and communication or telecommunication; other branches like computer Science, information Science, instrumentation, electrical etc. are also open. You could do Bachelor of Science in electronics too alternately.
