Do a detailed analysis of where your interest and potential lies, what long-term opportunities seek and course you can do like engineering, medicine, CA, journalism, languages, and business. Based on that, take the right base stream such as Arts, Commerce or Science. Once 2 years of pre-university is completed, graduation can be taken up. If you are aiming at a particular college for engineering or medical, etc., it makes sense to join a coaching institute for entrance exams too during the pre-university period itself.

Great! If you want to pursue degree in arts, choose Arts as your stream in pre university. You can figure out which field under Arts interests you the most. Example, journalism, media, languages, psychology, history etc. Research about each of the subjects and then see what you want to do in the long run. Accordingly make choices.
