There are many career options after 12th. He can switch to courses from commerce stream or humanities.
If he finds mathematics difficult, there are various courses curriculum for students without mathematics ranging from CA, CS, BBA, etc. Also, he can go for B.A. LLB
If he is creative, he can go for fashion designing Photography event management, etc. He can also give a thought to psychology liberal arts archaeology interior designing etc. Follow your passion and then you don't have to work even a single day of your life.

Take Physics, Chemistry, Maths and try to get high percentage marks in XIIth. It is important that you have good fundamental knowledge of the basics of the science subjects.
