Yes, you can go for cabin crew/air hostess job provided you have cleared class 12 before pursuing the diploma.
The minimum eligibility on the educational background is 12th to be a cabin crew.
You should also check the medical standards required for cabin crew.
The minimum height for female candidates is 167 cms. The age should be less than 26 years for freshers.

Hi Mehul, The conventional way is to go for Bachelors in physics, followed by a Masters and a PhD in physics. But some people (including me) are doing PhD after a Bachelors in engineering. One needs very good understanding of physics and maths as a prerequisite. In the meanwhile, many leading research institutes like IUCAA, Pune organize short term Schools in astrophysics for school students, which should be used by you to get a deeper glimpse of this field.

Qualifying exam
Bachelor’s degree in biological Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physical Science from a recognized university.

Usually, students with a variety of backgrounds and experience are accepted to astronomy courses and the entry requirements may be flexible. No particular previous knowledge or experience of astronomy is expected, but you should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in the subject. To become astronaut you must do B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering and also obtain Flying license with more than 1000h of flying experience. By the way first astronaut was from Fighter branch of Indian Air Force. There are very limited nearly zero opportunities for astronaut in India. You may able fullfil your dream abroad only.
