You can't immediately jump into the IT sector after class 12th. For getting a job in any of the IT firms you need to have the relevant qualifications and for that being a graduate in the science stream is a must. Also you can update your knowledge and skill set on the sides by taking up courses both in institutes or online courses as well. It's a highly competitive sector so you should constantly upgrade your learning. Think more about why do you want to join IT firms and do you have the aptitude for it?

You have ample amount of options after completing 10+2 you can go for B.com, BBA, CA, Engineering, Computer Applications and IT, B.Sc. and many more. So, according to your interest and eligibility criteria you can apply for any of these courses. Some of the universities which are good and providing all these courses are University of Delhi, Anna University, Lovely Professional University, Chennai University etc.

You can take up BBA/MBA, B.Com, or shorter term courses in Banking & Finance offered by various colleges. Banking as a sector has various roles in customer relationship management, front-end and back-end operations, sales, investments, treasury, marketing, etc. in verticals likes retail banking, HNI banking, corporate banking and investment banking.
