With the import /export diploma course you can seek employment in an Export/Import house or a manufacturing industry which is also involved in the import/export activity.There is good scope for such a course. You could also pursue MBA in marketing, international business and further sharpen your self in business management skills and broaden your career /job opportunities.
For Govt jobs depending on the skill requirement the minimum qualification will be set ,it could range from SSC/10 th pass to Masters qualification. Each govt dept keeping in mind their vacancies release advertisement and one has to clear an open test to seek employment.

To become Software Engineer you may do BTech in Computer Science or IT of Software engineering. Most of Engineering colleges admit students based on their entrance examination. JEE is common admission test for IITs, NITs and other autonomous colleges. You are advised to appear for JJE Mains and other engineering entrance examinations.

The most demanding career for PCM students right now is engineering. You can even apply for B.Arch. You can even apply for NDA.
There are other non-standard options (options that most PCM students do not take up) too like BBA, psychology etc.
