Hi Abhi,
I guess you should shift your career option to something you really are good at. Take a psychometric test, I will strongly advice you to take one and know your real aptitude and skills. 4 years is a huge gap so you should seriously consider other avenues. Consider a PG Diploma or MS in Biotech or Pharma or even Hospital management or a general management degree.

Completing a BSc from IISER Berhampur can lead to various career prospects, including opportunities in research, academia, and further studies. The strong foundation in basic sciences and the opportunity to pursue advanced coursework during the BS-MS course can prepare students for a wide range of career paths. The institute also offers job opportunities for Post Doctoral Research Fellows, indicating the potential for research positions after completing the program. Additionally, students can explore further studies such as a Ph.D. or other advanced degrees.

You should continue with the stream you took in class 12th for better career prospects.
I think you should get admission in diploma engineering computer science first or go for intermediate and than take admission in b.tech. than it is better to start ethical hacking
B.Tech in CSE or IT from a prestigious engineering college is the best career option for you. You are advised to put efforts to crack JEE to become a software engineer.

However, like I mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and B.Tech (CS) applicants. So, choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT Company’s credentials on the net. While CSE equally covers both hardware and software aspects. Information technology engineering and software engineering have a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. Most of the jobs offered are in the software domain. If you opt for information technology engineering, you can become a software engineer. If you opt for computer science and engineering, you can become a ... View more
